Okay, maybe not there, but my first was the seminal Holmes Dungeons & Dragons. What’s odd to me is that, based on how I can place the time from my memories, it was 1980 (at the earliest) and I had purchased the game from either JC Penney’s or Sears using a gift card from my uncle. That game was from around 1977-1980, but I also played the original Traveller RPG (the three book box set) which is also from 1977, but played it after I had started D&D.

FASA Star Trek? 1982. Champions, 3rd Edition? 1984. This would round out the earliest games from my gaming life.
