Two more miniatures representing player characters from the new D&D campaign I’m running. The first is the second miniature from the Dragonborn blister pack (the first was the Dragonborn figher I posted earlier) representing a Dragonborn paladin named Logaire. The second is a Reaper miniature, a sculpt I have painted in the past but did this one to the specifications of the player. He represents a fighter named Arxius.
The D&D party in the campaign is, as it turns out, fairly melee heavy, with no spellcasters and only one divine-powered PC (the paladin). Some of this is what people wanted to play, some of it is a wariness of the rules complexities of spellcasting characters. Presently there are two fighters, a paladin, a monk, a thief, two druids, and a bard. There is one PC who has yet to be made. If you are counting that is nine PC’s, actually used by eleven players since two PC’s are being run by a child being mentored by an adult player. Thankfully I have yet to have everyone show up at the same time.
This also gets me to 41 miniatures, surpassing the 2013 and 2021 painting totals, and well on my way to making my goal of 48 for the year. I need to readjust that in light of productivity, and another project that is on the back burner right now.
Thanks for reading and comments welcome!
