I was thinking recently it would be good to have some generic peasants to serve as background extras for various scenes in my D&D campaign or Warrior Heroes of Talomir as NPC Grunts, so I dug through my extensive library of stl’s and discovered a cache of peasants from Philip Sin’s Miniatures. They are far from fancy and lack a lot of detail, but for what I was looking for they do just fine. I didn’t go all out on the paint job–just a simple speedpaint cover, my typical base covering these days, and they are good to go. I will say that their feet are a bit oversized, but given that you have to glue them to the base (and the problems I have had with more “accurate” sculpts) this might be a feature rather than a bug.
So while not my best work, I can say that I have successfully hit the halfway point in my painting goal for 2025, all before the end of April. Not too bad…
