Unlike the flesh golem (which weirdly I called a clay golem when I first wrote that post) this miniature is not speed painted, but one I took my time on and really tried to do some things with highlighting, etc.
He’s “Kaelen Ashveil” from Claymore Miniatures’ April subscriber drop, and according to their lore is part of a group called “The Bastards” who hunt down wizards who create various monsters (such as a flesh golem). One of the other miniatures is his twin, Dorian, who is some kind of sword-wielding warrior. I had intended Kaelen to be an NPC to help flesh out a under-staffed gaming party during our last session, but additional players I was not expecting showed up and he wasn’t needed.
I’m not sure how I feel about the scarf. I don’t think the color goes with the rest of his ensemble, but I like the idea of a masked assassin of dubious wizards running about my campaign city, along with his similarly masked twin.
Thoughts? Comments? Would like me to stat him out for your campaign? Let me know.
