Ironskull Deathstrider and some rats

A bit of a study in contrasts here. The first miniature is an Ironskull Deathstrider from Steamforged Games’ Epic Encounter Arena of the Undead Horde. It is sort of an undead skeletal centaur with the skull of a bull or some other horned animal. He’s wielding a giant scythe and can both charge and multiattack with the scythe and his hooves.

The second is just a trio of rats from Claymore Miniatures as part of a set of minis with a distinctly plague theme. I painted this to go with the earlier rat that I did for the wildshape druid in my D&D campaign.

Now one is a large and complicated creature, the other a fairly tiny and simple set of creatures, but each base is only worth one point to the total since I don’t want to get all tied up in figure out what is worth what. In the end, I suspect it will all even out.

Speaking of totals, that’s 44, and I’m only halfway through the year. Not to jinx it, but I am feeling pretty good about this painting goal.
