Gorrak Bone-twisted the Ettin

This was the Big Bad Evil Guy from my most recent D&D session, an Ettin who had invaded the glade of Belamcanda, a Brambleheart Dryad and the location of the Moonblossom Herb that the party had been hired to recover. Gorrak had special magical abilities, including the capacity to regenerate in moonlight.

The miniature came from a Kickstarter from years ago called The Lost Adventures. It’s a nice adventure, with heroes and monsters. My only gripe about the Kickstarter is that the scale is just a little larger than the typical 32mm. I would likely reduce the size of the heroes a bit to be more to scale.

Anyways, this guy was a great villain, aided by two Moonshadow Wargs who held the heroes at bay for some time. So, if you’re interested in seeing my write-up of the adventure, let me know and I’ll see if I can add it to the blog.

Thanks for reading!

  1. Nice work on the miniature! I do find that scale creep is real, even in 3D printing stl files. Of course, when you 3D print, you have the luxury to scale down first.
