This miniature has been sitting around for a long time. It was supposed to be for one of the first players in my Hides of Aestel campaign, but that person had to drop out before I was able to finish it.
It is a Pathfinder Deep Cuts miniature, but for whatever reason I really had a hard time seeing the detail until I looked at a photo of the mini online to notice things like the armor plate on the right forearm, which I had just painted as a sleeve. So I had to go back and pick up some of the detail before calling it done.
Some strong colors on this one, but I feel like that works for a bard with a longsword in one hand and a lute in the other. Plus some sensible armor and boots makes this one a nice adventurer mini.
In other news, Wizards of the Coast backed down and reinstated he original OGL, even going so far as to backstop the SRD as a Creative Commons. It is a bit like gluing together a broken plate, but hopefully it is just the beginning of trying to regain the lost goodwill of their fanbase (just in time to try to salvage the movie too).
