A goblin, a golem, and a bard

I’m on a bit of a roll right now.

The first is a goblin pyro from the Pathfinder line. I painted it using the orc flesh Army Painter Speedpaint and I think it was too viridian. My other goblins were painted tan and in the future if I want to go with green I will try a lighter, more organic color.

The second, like the first, is a Reaper Bones Kickstarter figure, in this case a stone golem. This figure was almost too easy to paint: a slapchop of gray and then light gray, then hit with the Runic Stone Speedpaint. Finish the bases the same way I always do (I should write that up sometime) and it’s done. On the other hand, he’s a great looking miniature.

The third miniature is “Anwyn” a bard whom I think is human but could easily be an elf or half-elf. Pretty straightforward bard character, maybe an NPC (she seems like on gear for a PC). In a weird coincidence this miniature (in its metal form) was the first miniature my daughter Macy ever painted years ago. Might have been one of the last too, now that I think of it.

By the way, I passed the 2018 painting total a while back. I’m now into my April painting goals, which I am feeling good about.
