Thund Bloodwrack

Of all of the bands of cutthroats and brigands that wander the area, one of the most feared is led by the barbarian Thund Bloodwrack. Thund is a former warlord of a nomadic tribe who was exiled because of his poor leadership and inexcusable temper (even by their standards). Generations of problematic inbreeding left Thund with an unusually small skull in proportion to his body, something of which he is very sensitive about. Fellow tribesmen who called him things like “gnomehead” or “pebble brain” would suddenly find themselves dealing with a raging avalanche of muscle and steel.

After Thund’s ejection from the tribe, he settled into the area, gathering around him likeminded scum who could tolerate his marginal personality in return for his capacity for rapacious violence. What Thund lacks in intelligence and charisma, he makes up for in canniness and cruelty, with is favorite weapon being a large blunt sword taken from a giant.

This figure is a actually called “Thund Bloodwrack” by Reaper miniatures, and is a bit of a bizarre sculpt both with its small head and flat body, not to mention the ironing board of a sword. But weird quirks make for fun NPC’s, and that’s how I’m playing it.

And we are off the races for the printing total as well!
