I feel like this miniature represents a iconic look for a wizard, especially with the pointed “witch’s hat” we see on Gandalf, Elminster, Fistandantilus, Orko, and others.

At the rest of sounding immodest, I am really pleased with how he turned out. No speed paints, just a little in the way of washes, and mostly done with highlights and shading. It’s not often I put a ton of work into a miniature, and it was nice to go slow and test my skills.

I’m at thirty miniatures for the year, so still running ahead of schedule, but only just.
