I haven’t done a Gaslands Hot Wheels conversion in a very long time, but I had a yen to do something quick and easy, and so I cranked this one out. The car itself was literally given to me as part of the unsold detritus from a church garage sale. It didn’t even have a die cast body, but instead a translucent plastic one, so I didn’t need to strip the paint off before priming it.

As I said, it’s nothing fancy. Looking at the blown-up picture I can see that I forgot to clean off the bottom of the machine gun barrels, but that’s a very, very minor detail. I have no idea why a person in a post-apoc world would convert a youth-oriented Toyota off-brand, but maybe it was the only car they could get?
